TASK #1 - PPA Slides (In Groups) Day
1 ● Create a Google Slides Presentation ● Name the presentation: “PPA Slides/First and
Last Name(s)” ● 1st
Slide: Cover
Page Create a cover page with your
name(s), class period, and the social issue we are covering- school violence. ● 2nd
Slide: Define the Problem ● After watching the introduction video,
complete and post the “Defining the Social Problem” worksheet. **Make sure to include undesirable social
conditions that result from school violence. Day

Slide: Gather the Evidence Now it is time for you to prove that your
problem exists! ● Use CDC worksheet and CDC website for information. ● Complete and post the “Gathering Evidence” worksheet. Cite 3-5 pieces of
evidence. Statistics, graphs,
interviews, etc… are acceptable evidence. ● Complete the FDA survey on school violence
as part of your evidence. ● Found your own evidence? Great! You must
evaluate each source you cite with the C.R.A.A.P
worksheet. The
source must pass the C.R.A.A.P to be included in the slides. |
